name is Donnie Hall and I sing with a group called New Freedom. We’ve
recorded 4 separate projects at HGS from 1999 – 2003 and we have been
more than satisfied with our results. I always thought that you would
have to go to Nashville to get a professional band and professional
sound, but we quickly found out that you don’t have to pay a fortune
to get a first class recording. Mark and all of the folks at Harvest
are wonderful to work with. One of the things that impressed me most
about Harvest Gospel Studio is that they are just as committed in
building a relationship as they are in making sure you are happy with
your recording project. At HGS, you’re not just a client – you’re a
friend for life.
Mark and his staff also did a choir project for our church along
with 2 separate Sound Training Seminars and did a lot of
troubleshooting on our new sound system in our sanctuary, and fixed
several of our sound issues in less than a day.
Our group has gone through some personnel changes over the last
couple of years, but we hope to get back in the studio in the near

have always enjoyed my sessions at Harvest, because not only do Mark,
Dale and all the staff make you feel at home, in a relaxed atmosphere,
but the Holy Spirit is free there also. We have had many, many
blessings in that room, for sure! And boy, can Mark forevermore turn
those knobs! He has a touch and a listening ear that a lot of folks
don’t have.
Trust me folks, I buy a LOT of CD’s from artists that record all over
the country. I listen to the songs of course, but sometimes things
distract me. When I hear a “buzz” that told me the gains were not set,
it ruins the song. When a song gets “cut off” from the board early, it
ruins the song. I have never heard anything like that come out of
Harvest Gospel Studios. They are meticulous about their work because
they care about what you will be judged by. People can sing and play
instruments, and the Lord works through it all, but those “little
things” keep folks from really getting the message.
I have said it many times; folks ask where I record, and I always say,
“Harvest Gospel Studios!” and I usually add, “If someone comes to me
and tells me that they are going to pay for my recording, I’ll go
anywhere you tell me to go, but if I’M the one writing the check,
